You could also try to spot-weld the parts using CA and once that is set than finish of with the modeling glue.

Works for me on warped Vynil Kits. Big Smile [:D]

AMT is infamous for this......Other kits have thier problems but Ive found this to be an AMT disease! Like Chris said....lots of glue holding and patience

I have had the same problems in the past, most recently with an AMT kit. I just do alot of glueing and holding till the glue is dry. If an area needs the extra glue i just sand down whatever needs it and touch it up with paint.

I have built several cars and i always have the same problem evrything goes great until it comes time to pit the body of the chasis. everytime i do it, it never fails, the body warps the chasis or just does other crazy stuff. so my point is this are there any tips or anything i could use when i get to this point? it is very frustrating. i am working on an amt '69 firebird now and so far it is great except that i dread the part that will be coming soon.
