O.K. the engine is assembled and painted, so is the interior.  I just have to paint the wheels and the body for this thing to take off. Pics will follow soon.

Here are some more pics. The top one is the unfinished dashboard, then the brake discs, and the seat pattern.

The bottom picture is the scrapbookking stickers that I bought for the decals.

Let us see how everything turns out...

Sorry Brizio, but this is just the plain Jane street version. I believe that DanA is building the same one as me. Have you tried getting them through Tamiya USA?

This Mini its the tamiya Cooper 1275S Rally? I ask this because I'm looking for the two tire on the roof rack, because I want build mine with normal tires, instead of the snow tires. So if you want to trade it or sell those tires, please let me know.

Thanks!

Well, I painted the seats and the brakes, finished painting the chassis and related parts. Next I will tackle the engine assembly and painting. Pics will follow tomorrow.

Any critiques will be appreciated.

Okay, so far what I have done is primed the black sprue, and painted the engine bay with the body colour (pink). hopefully tonight I can do some of the finer painting. Like the brakes and air filters. Let us see what tommorrow brings....

This model will be for my daughters room. It will be painted pink with purple accents. The decals for it are butterfly stickers from the scrapbooking section of Zellers.

Pics will follow. Please be patient as I also have a son. Two kids under two, is very tiring.
