Testors Enamal CheZoom Teal Pearl...Thinner ?
Posted by IBuild148 on Thursday, July 8, 2010 10:47 AM

I have a bottle of Testors "CheZoom Teal Pearl" that I want to use on a Revell 1/25 1966 Chevy SS 396 Hardtop.

First my complaint. The label on the bottle is in a foreign language. No ENGLISH except for the," may cause cancer and birth defects"! No were does it say how much to thin when airbrushing.

Go to the website for help....Forget it...NONE!!!

Call them...Forget It!....4 minutes of wasted time for a let us call you back. WHAT...you make the freakin stuff. How did you get a job???

So I ask the FSM Forum. Common sense says to use my Testors Enamel Thinner to thin but I would like to confirm to avoid another problem.

Thanks

Hello Ibuild148, you were right about the testor's enamel airbrush thinner.  It has been awhilt since I used that line, but it thins like the other gloss model masters.  Didn't use a specific ratio, just thinned to consistency of skim milk.  Hope that helps.

Cheers,

Greg
