Vintage 1967 BEER WAGON done
Posted by Njal Thorgeirsson on Saturday, July 17, 2010 11:36 PM

I'm an armor modeler, so you've probably not seen me around (link below!), but my dad just finished this one up, so I thought some of you guys might find this intersting. I think it's a pretty cool vintage kit.

How did he achieve that flawless yellow paint job? That's one color I have irritating problems with.

Tamiya rattle can, straight over the plastic. Took quite a few coats, though.

Very well done Njal!Beer This is one of those classics from the 70's that brings back memories when I first got into the hobby.

Can you share with us on how you achieved that fine yellow finish?

As I said in the above post, it was just the Tamiya rattle can paint. Plain and simple.
