Kenworth Truck cab and sleeper attachment
Posted by Wilbur Wright on Thursday, July 22, 2010 2:45 PM

I have the Revell Kenworth T900. This is my first truck  model. What is the best way to do this.

would I attach the cab and sleeper together (off the chassis) then put it on the chassis as one piece.....or put them on the chassis separately.

How does one get a better result?

This all depends on the type of truck, different manufacturers use different methods. Some cabs are mounted independent of the sleeper and a heavy boot made of a flexible material is used to make a weather tight seal between the cab and sleeper. And in other types the cab and sleeper are asingle structure. Some pics may be a big help.I am not all to familiar as I have worked on very few 900 series Kenworth tractors. These are the two most common types,a quick google search may help also.
