Thanks Stephen.   Just a light buff with a sanding stick.

Chiming in late on this, Marc, but what a nice little ride. I like the subtle weathering on the tires, How did you manage that?

I've meant to post to this thread ever since I first saw it:

To me THIS is what an F1 should look like! My favorite era for those cars and probably my favorite car among them! You've done a fantastic job allowing all the best memories to come flooding back and here's one model I'm more than a lil envious of!

Love it. I still watch F1 races when I can & enjoy it - but THAT is what a racecar should look like! Great job on a classic machine. My wife keeps asking what I want for Christmas, something like this may fit the bill!

On the bench: Airfix 1/72 Wildcat; Airfix 1/72 Vampire T11; Airfix 1/72 Fouga Magister

Wow Marc, this looks awesome! I've been thinking about building a car lately, and this is inspirational. I'm leaning towards a Tamiya F-1 in 1/20. for my build. Not sure which one yet.

Thanks Manny.  Yes Tamiya but 1/20. In between when buying some of the really cool AM stuff that is 1/16 or 1/24Sad
