HobbyUSA (my local Hobbytown Franchise) had a sale this week and I picked up the nice Tamiya ne`e Italari Kfz.305 truck. Typical options, tarp up, tarp down. etc. I plan to make this one a generic post-war recovery effort truck. Stanard markings painted over with some cheery color, worn through by bricks and rubble with the sides of the bed removed. dirty and kind of tired is the look here.
The kit fits wel enough and I have used very little Mr. Surfacer 500 only as needed. Plenty of detail for a base kit but more can be added. lots of knockout marks to fill or remove, highlighted in purple, including inside the cab.
I picked up the kit at 1/2 price so I am perfectly happy with it. about 7 honest hours in it so far including dropping the smaller parts and finding them on the floor.
A few photos, and a link to the photobucket account with all of them.

Can't have a modeling bench without the cat!
