Fujimi Porsche 917 kit

Does anyone know what the width across the body of the actual car was at the front axle line and the rear axle line (not track width, body width). There has been some interesting debate on another forum which indicates that the recently released Fujimi kit is grossly over width at the front by a factor of between 8 - 10%
