Howdry Trey,
All I have to say is that is one Bitchin build my friend..!! I love your attention to detail especially with the tire wear effect and the exhaust..
As the inking on the tyres.. What colours did you use? Blue n red?
I have a few bikes in my stash and after seeing BP's and yours, the itch increases.. Thank you for sharing!!
Flaps up,
Mike

thanks for looking any comments or critique most welcome
had to revise the paint on the pipes forgot to add the blend between the red/blue fade
onward to the body work now
and there on
on to the pipes, started out with a base of gold then dullcoat
then brushed on some aluminum plate metalizer and burnished it in with a soft cloth
decanted some candy blue and faded the fronts of the exhaust then high lighted the welds and tight bends where the heat tends to build
then did the same with some candy red
ready to hang
put her clothes on for a trial fit
fork set ready to go and its on its wheels !
attached up the swingarm and started the front assembly.
on to the tires,I sanded them with 80 grit ,wich at first might sound a bit much but imho it simulates aggressive race wear perfectly. Then I inked the edges to replicate the heat blueing and then blended it down to the desired effect with a soft cloth.
been a productive day of building here is the progress so far
getting this build underway ,pretty much oob maybe a few pe sprinkled in as I've got some goodies left over from another Yammie build. Basic kit components and some dry fitted bits
powerplant ready for instal
