There are three pieces, two hood straps and the steering wheel spoke assembly.

The instructions show the installation of the hood straps pretty well, in one of the last steps. You bend the top in 90 degrees, insert through the hole in the hood and glue in place.  Hood should already be painted by this time.

The PE spokes are an option.  The kit provides a one-piece steering wheel with spokes and rim cast together, but the PE version is much nicer.  There is a separate rim for the PE spokes- glue the spokes to the bottom of that rim, then insert the optional shaft through from the top and glue.  Paint the rim (I painted it after gluing spokes in place, so I would not have to scrape paint off gluing surface).  Now install.

Gluing in all cases is not difficult and I used CA.

Thank you for the help

I was wondering how to get off and attach to the plastic parts

When i saw the etch parts in package backed off and  I put it up till I found out more

I have three or the v-8 and just ordered 3 offy editions

Thinking of doing a diorama of a  40s-50s starting field

I  also have the indy version and old revell midget but have lost tires somewhere and been unable to locate tires to fit it
