Looking great MM. Have an idea to throw your way. 2 cents Instead of the skulls in the cab, how about a pair of black crows instead to go with the idea posted earlier about the Edgar Allen Poe book in the car. You already have large skulls on the side of the bed so the crows wouldn't be overdoing your theme but adding to it. What you've done so far is great. This looks like it will make a great show winner when finished. Keep up the good work.

Added a few skulls up top. Can't have enough skulls on this build!

Not much to update, at a lose for inspiration and ideas. Had to cover the door hinges and was thinking about using urethane foam to make a pedestal and something like a head stone for the back of the cab. Got it cut and shaped, now to figure out what kind of pattern to form in the foam.

MM,

I like the creativity that your taking on this build.

Maybe add a Edgar Allen Poe / Stephen King book for the interior.

I'll keep watching to see the end result!

Got some progress last night, working on installing the door panels, made the coffin shaped console for the 1 seat, and had an idea to take a resin skull, cut it in half and put them on the side of the bed to keep with the macabre theme.

Thank you all for the comments. A little more work...The door is recessed and boxed and the skull and cross bones will fit flush in opening, doesn't show from photos because tape was holding it out more. and to bring the seat up higher making a coffin shaped box that I will box in with coffin pleated foam and mirrored plastic edges. Also decided that two seats would be too big so just putting the one seat on top of the coffin. Kinda like cyclops.

Not much done but did get some work on the chassis, added the trays for the batteries, a brace for the hydro pumps, and decided to use the front suspension as not sure how I would adjust it custom like. May add some hydro cylinders to the front anyway to match the back.

Thanks for the replies guys, played around with lining up the audio stuff in the bed. This way it will make it cleaner looking than cutting holes in the plastic and having them face upwards.

Still swamped at work however had a few hours last night to work on this little truck. I lent out my good camera so I had to take my pics outside with my back up camera as it does better outside by the garden. I have been updating the info on another forum but thought that I would share with everyone here.

Started to work on the interior door panels.

Finally boxed in the bed coffin shaped bed cover.

Someone on this or another forum gave me an idea to put all the hydros and pumps under the bed to make a cleaner install, so that is what I am going to do. Made some battery shelves for two batteries and the pumps will be behind the axle. All plumbed and wired and working on the hydro cylinders right now.

and I am going to hinge the bed so that it will raise up and move to the rear so all this work is not hidden when it is finished.
