I got the base weathering on. everything so far is painted with acrylics with the airbrush and sea salt. i tried to add lots of different shades of the blue color.

I do my final weathering with artist oils. things like rain streaks, dust and grime, detailing around emblems etc. but since i use oil I do all that stuff once the car is completely assembled so this is as far as i can go at the moment.

also started building up the engine area. im gonna build it all and paint it after. this is easy to do since this whole area is separate from the body

heres an idea of how it will look. the base is still far from done lots of junk to add there

JT,

That looks spot on... I think you could fool some folks into thinking that was a real car.

Looks fantastic. What technique are you using to do the rust?

i used salt, also just painting it on my preferred method., and sports of white glue on the door to make peeling paint.
