                        Hi guys, this is a model that has been in the loft for many years. Rubbish paintjob by hand and a bit brocken in places. Perfect for a test vehicle with the old rusty treatment. I will keep it short but basicly i rubbed it down with fine wet n dry and took off a lot of the paint to show undercoat. Then areas of rusty brown were painted on. Next i mixed up some talcum powder with some pigments and gave the rust areas a bit of surface texture. I weathered it with further washes and layers of grime with filter coats. Put it in its own little setting and this drab old loft liner became quite a nic e little addition to the model collection.Big Smile

                        WOW!!!! What a great use of an old kit. It came out fantastic, I love the way the hood cam out it looks just like the real deal. I am always remined that my models are just amatuer hour projects.Bow Down

                        Thats outstanding,spot on with the rust and faded paint.The coat hanger antenae is a perfect touch.

                        Cheers guys. He went to his first show outing this weekend and picked up Gold plus one of Airton Senna,s helmets as a trophy. Too cool for words.

                        Wow, cool use of a closet queen, and nets a Gold first time out. Well done!

                        You have a Senna helmet? Indifferent He was fantastic to watch race. A small part of me died with him, and F1 was never the same without him.
