As i said in my Anglia post, "Although I'm better known as an armor modeller, I grew up fascinated with early drag racing".

Lately, I have been wondering around on a kind of "modelers walkabout".

As such, I have been building outside of my normal realm.

So here, submitted for your inspection...

MAJ Mike

Superb job!

However, could use zimmerit and more rust.

Actually, I think it needs an MG42 on a flex mount on the roof!

Glad you like it MAJ Mike.

And thanks TD4438!

Funny story about this car.  Panzerjager and I went up to Marquette MI for a contest and this car was one of his entries.  After the awards were handed out Panzerjager asked the judges why it had not placed.  One of the street car judges said it was a race car and so it got judged with the other racers.  The race car judges thought it was a street car and should have been judged with the other street cars.

In truth, it was never judged at all!  Definitely one for the books.  I still think it should have gotten something.

Sorry I haven't got back to any one lately.  You know the old saying "Life gets in the way...".

Jim, that's the song I had in mind when I came up with the name for this build.

Pat, Ya, we'll be talking about that contest for years to come!

Glad all of you liked the car.
