I used 220 grit sandpaper to sand the backside of the grill, then cleaned out the openings with micro files. It didn't take long to do, but what a difference it makes.

SWEETelicious!

May I ask what tool you used to open the grill?

Great looking Camaro!

Particularly like the over spray effect underneath. Of course the deep red gloss paint is awesome!

AMT kit.  Opened up the grill, refinished in PPG lacquer, DuPont urethane clear coat.  This was a fun build.  All the parts fit together great.
