I'm not really a car person. My end of the hobby is more plane and tank, so i really don't know if its a good model or bad from an exsperianced modeler's stand point but it looks good to me!

Thanks for the comment! I busted it off the shelf and went to work with my Tamiya weathering kits. Blue heat effect now applied.

Thanks!

excellent finish. what i would have added is the "blueish/yellowish" finish on the exhaust close to the engine.

i wish was that good :)

Revell ’06 Ford Mustang GT-H Build

Using KA Models Detail-Up Photoetch Kit

This is my build of a Mustang GT-H. It’s still in progress but getting there. Fortuntely, I have the best reference material in my driveway! If I wanna know how something should look on the model, then I just go outside and see. Unfortunately I'm not a natural at this so the details are lost in translation...

I welcome any comments/criticisms/advice. I'm always trying to improve.

Alclad II polished Aluminum for undercarriage. Tried drybrushing out on the carbon fiber parts with some copper, but it didnt show up well. I wanna get better at this, and I feel like the underbody needs more detail. Not sure where though.

Interior with PE, they included some detail on the floor to simulate flocking so I didn't add more. Alclad on the dash. PEtch Shaker 1000.

Photoetch Intake. Had to do some minor surgery (very minor, I should know, being a surgeon) to remove the plastic molded fan.

More completion. Bare metal foil on wipers, Minor tooling of engine. that line across top of roof isnt a scratch; it's reflection of airbrush hood. Used Testors Blazing Black "One Step" (not really) Lacquer direct from can. I did decant some for touchups and masking on windows.

More to come if you want...

Thanks
