This is a project I finished earlier this Spring. It started as the Revell Black Widow 57 Chevy 150 kit. It represents a budget build in progress. The owner just rolled it out of his makeshift paintbooth (single car garage with a fan in the window).
I cut off the roof and reshaped the rear deck to convert the 2-door post body into a convertible. The 150 side trim was sanded off and holes were drilled to mimick the shape of the Bel-Aire trim. The interior floor and dash were modified to represent the bare structure. The top frame and interior side panels were scratch built. The areas above and on both sides of the firewall were scratch built as well.
Dude, you've got some mad skills. The frame around the engine looks about as real as you can get.
