NYSP Crown Victori***
Posted by JailCop on Monday, October 17, 2011 6:16 PM

Hey guys, just finished my NYSP Crown Victoria, thought I'd share some pics!  I took some of the interior before final assembly so you can see the detail work I TRIED on lol.

The kit was originally a 1:25 Linberg Illinois State Police kit, I made some alterations.  The supplied lightbars weren't correct for the 1997 style Crown Vic's, so I got the decals, lightbar, and rear arrow stick from policecarmodels.com.

Yes, its blotchy, the enamel didn't like the white plastic for some reason, could have used a few more coats, but I didn't want to waste the paint.

Don't worry about wasting the paint.  I used to, too, until I realized a bottle of paint is cheaper than the model it goes on.

Nevertheless, I like what you've done.  Nice looking car--only I wouldn't want to see it in my rearview mirror!!Embarrassed
