Don, that sounds beautiful, how long do you think that will take?

Once I get the wheels and tires- the only parts I am lacking, I'd estimate three weeks to a month.

Okay, here is a project I am just starting.  I am using the recent Revell '32 Ford tudor rod as the frame and engine for a late 40s- early 50s track roadster.  I bought a resin 27 T body.  Nose and grill will be the Ford V8-60 nose and grill from the recent Revell midget kit.  Still looking for appropriate wheels and tires.

Excellent...I just ordered TDR's 1/24 Jaguar D-Type body...going to mate that with the Revell Jag SK-SS running gear.  The Fisher Model body is easier to prepare and paint, but it's curbside only (Fisher Models are about as good as it gets in resin - you gotta have a look).

I'll post pics of the body as soon as I get it.

Cheers, LeeTree

Are you asking if folks ever modify a kit vs everyone always build kits box-stock?

I took 2 years of drafting in high school and I have a little experience in CAD; I was thinking about designing some texas edition rims for my "silverado" model truck. I'm pretty sure you can get these kind of designs printed on a website like this. What do you guys think? Ever make anything custom for your "ride"?
