I did it years ago w/ the old MPC 1969 Mach 1 kit . As I recall, I cut the roof @ the trunk area & built it up from there. Wasn't a very difficult conversion, especially since the car I built had a vinyl top, & this covered up/saved a lot of sanding. Take lots of pictures of the real thing for reference, then go for it!

if you're adventurous, i've done it on the cheap by cut up a fastback mustangs and used a Cougar roof to make one.

when i was a teenager i owmed a 1970 mutang coupe.of course there is no model of this type but is it posible to convert a 70 fastback to a coupe?have you guys ever done this?thanks
