He had fun, he has 4 year old syndrome bad, the ability to focus on one thing is nearly impossible. But I was able to get him to sit down and paint with me, every once in a while he would shoot up, jump off my lap and head towards his room to play. But with a simple "Aidan, arent we painting McQueen?" he would turn around with the same enthusiasm he had for running to play yell "PAINTING MCQUEEN!" and run back
It is only the intellect that keeps me sane; perhaps this makes me overvalue intellect against feeling

Not really a model, but the first bit of creative....anything I have done in a while, and done with my son so I figured I would share. Started as ceramic blanks, he and I painted them up this weekend. He did McQueen then said "daddy paint mater for Aidan" of course, because I am me, I took it to the extreme and spent the next 6 or so hours on it, but he is pleased so it is well worth it
