Another batch of kits that were superb for their  time and still excellent kits for building were the classic car line of the thirties, like the Duesenberg.

I agree-the older Monogram car kits have withstood the test of time....they still build up very nicely.

And you did a great job on the 'Vette...nice work.

These older kits are still little gems, even 20 years after their release. Wish they would reissue them and add other items to the line. Fooled around with this one around the holidays, made it a fast build. Just added some engine detail, an antenna and coil springs for the front control arms in place of the plastic log that was used, you can just make it out behind the front wheel. My "redlines" did not come out too good, oh well. Even painted this one using nothing other than a spray can, didn't feel like cleaning the airbrush :).
