hello i usually dont come on here mainly because im a wings guy, but i really need help here..

me and my father have a 1979 fully original that were restoring and i have been trying for about a year now to find any sized model of a 79 trans am for when we take it to a show we can display the car with a model on the shaker... any help is needed!!!

Keep an eye out on ebay for the old MPC kit (1979?), it has the shaker  hood. Built one back in high school, was a pretty good kit as I recall. I also built a 1/12 scale Monogram kit (1980?)for a buddy who had the real car back in the day, would be pretty cool to display that with your car at the shows.

BTW, I do the same thing with my 1970 Challenger RT/SE 440-6pack & the Monogram kit (converted from the T/A w/ some kit bashing & scratch built details), always get nice comments on both.

So what are the stats on your '79?  TA6.6, 6.6Litre?  WS6?  I used to have several TAs, including a 71 auto and 72 4speed.  I really liked the 79.
