Talk about a blast from the past "WoW"

Late 1960s / early 1970s Revell car kits had some nice artwork.

My all-time favorite, just because it was one of the first I did (the model, not the artwork):

The only box i've got displayed in my model cabinet is the E-Type JAGUAR in front of the jet fighter (an old 60s box).

A few of my favorites...

it looks like MPC had two 'periods' ( gee just like classic art! ).

first was like palmer and it's artistic and brushy looking with

action in the scenes ( cars going down race track ).

then it's modern painting style with less action and a 'Pop' look.

example of second period is MPC Dodge Superbee that's available

everywhere now.

I would say 1960s era kits by almost anyone had the better box art when compared to the 1970s and later kit photo on the box.
