Thanks for the helpful hints, I'll look into those. I was considering using the bad vector rims from the "general lee" but would rather get rims that are closer to the ones on the car in the movie. I saw online somewhere where a modeller named "MadModeller" built an awesome version of what I'm building.

did a search to refresh my memory of what it looked like, someone's done a rather nice one (it appears on a couple different modelling forums).

i think the turbine rims are in a few different kits, including the Eckler Corvette. you might be able to get away with using the bad Vector rims from AMT general lee kit, which don't look much like Vectors.

Fellow modellers- I'm starting on a new project; the '79 Camaro from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" movie and I've been having a very difficult time trying to locate in 1:24 or 1:25 scale, the Turbine rims for my model! Can anyone please help me in finding them! Thanks!
