I owned the real thing back in the day, but it wasn't a 409, just a humble 283 with a four-barrel, dual exhausts and a Hurst shifter on the floor.

Nice job. The chrome looks great. Love the first photo with the taillights reflecting in the back bumper.

Lindberg kit.  Refinished in Shadow Grey lacquer, DuPont urethane clear coat.  Engine wired and plumbed.  Scratch built alt. bracket, parking brake cables, steering box, idler arm, drag link and front sway bar.
