Hi Cat,
What you've got is really impressive. My only "negative" feedback would be that it looks like an odd combination of new and used. Everything looks bright and shiny except the body, which looks rusted and junky and then it was a beautiful paintjob on the roof.
Your execution is beautiful, though, I don't want you to think I don't appreciate the work you've done.
Thank you Griffin. That's what I wanted to make it look like... Like someone found an old Ford body and it's putting together a hot rod... The definition of a "Rat Rod" is - any car that appear "unfinished" (whether they actually are or not), with just the bare essentials to be driven.
That's why I called it a Rat Rod as I think it fit the definition. I've also seen actual Rat Rods in car shows that really look more like regular Hot Rods in Primer than a Rat Rod.
So, what you've gotten from looking at the kit is what I had in mind.
There you go! I learned something today!
Can I go home from work now?
LOL..
Felix-nice build....exceptional job on weathering the body.
One question-I'm assuming that's a decal on the roof (if not, I'm really gonna be blown away)....where did you purchase the decal?

Hi bob - Thank you very much. Learned all my weathering from building Armor. This was my first try on a automobile. That is a decal. I created the decal by using my computer and printing it on Decal Sheets.
From Wikipedia...
"The rat rod is the visualization of the idea of function over form. Rat rods are meant to be driven, not shown off."
To me it's like the builder put the performance well above the appearance. You creation is awesome, but to me the shiny green needs to go, or be dulled. Nice work regardless. How did you do the rust?
