Moebius '55 Chrysler 300 custom color combo
Posted by philo426 on Saturday, April 21, 2012 10:10 PM

I just picked up the new Moebius '55 Chrysler 300 and decided to paint it like my grandfather's '56 Chrysler.It was painted Coral pink with a black roof and looked really sharp.It was not easy to mix the paint!The first batch came out Barbie pink and I had to add dark red to achieve the color I was after.Here it is after the first coat;

I put on the 3rd coat today and decided to put the Chrysler "in the bag"(lunch bag)to paint the roof black.

HI,hey nicejob! Idid notice that you had a similar problemthat I had.The camera picks way more thanoureye.There are two very fine lines on either side of the roof at the top of the "B " pillar.My lines didn,t show up till I had the finish coats on it either.The lines weren,t on the real car.That said I like your color choices and you did great on the interior. That is nice.Very well done ! TANKER-builder-SCALE AUTO site name oldcarguy
