Revell 2005 Corvette C6 complete
Posted by kustommodeler1 on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 10:00 PM

Here for your enjoyment is Revell's '05 C6. Painted with Duplicolor Garnet Pearl, and cleared, buffed with Micro Mark pads to 8000 grit, and polished with 3M #39007 Imperial Hand Glaze.

The Interior is Krylon Almond and black trim, along with BMF instrument panel trim.

Hope you likeSmile Burger

I painted the engine covers to match the body, with white lettering

Very nice.  Even with the fit issues, this kit finishes up to be a very nice example.  I did the Z06 version of one of these up in Mellinium Yellow, and it's one of my favs.

Thanks folks, yeah it was fun.

TD4438, my digital camera is a dinosaur in this day and age, it's a Sony FD Mavica, and while it can go macro, pic quality is only VGA (640X480), so I dont do many closeups. If you look at the second pic, it does catch a lot of the dash detail through the driver window, which includes the cluster, and console, where the BMF was applied.

CrashTestDummy, it did have some fit issues, such as the driver front wheel wanting to sit to far to the rear in the wheel well. I have another kit just like it, I will correct it in building it.
