I would love to post pics. But I have the crapiest digicam of all!! I also don't know how to post pics here. I suppose I could make a geocities page and link it? Put even if I did get pics up no-one will be able to see diddly-squat. I keep trying to save for a good camera but I keep seeing too many awesome models!!! I have no self-restraint Disapprove [V]

Oil Cooled, huh? Neat. I knew that it was a radiator. I was wondering if it was a two-for-one thing, radiator / oil cooler. I looked throught the site that Dave showed me. I found out alot of stuff there. It shows waterpumps and hoses though? The cooling system on it confuses me a little. It's a bit different than cars (the ones I know anyway). But anyway, I'm just about done with it. It's the best detail I've ever done!

The thing that looks like a radiator to you has oil lines going in (top) and out (bottom), because it is a radiator. However the Ninja is not water-cooled, but oil-cooled.

I do not know a lot about the super bikes for all your questions. However the cylinder thingies on the steering are dampers to help reduce "head shake" on the sport bikes.

A well stocked Library should have a selection of Workshop manuals.

Alternatively check the sites for Haynes, Harwood and similar workshop manual producers.
They are not cheap, but I have a Manual for every Bike/Car I owned so far.

You can say that again!!! But I love a challenge. And finding the info I need to super detail is part of the challenge. But, um, do you kmow how I can go about getting the manuel though?

I think what you need is a copy of the workshop manual to answer all those questions.

Hello all. I just got the Ninja ZX-12R by Tamiya. I need to know some things before build. Mainly what some parts are and a few detailing questions. Firstly, part C10. What is it, something to do with oil? and while we're on oil, I can see oil lines on the box cover going to what I thought was just a radiator. If those are oil lines lemme know where they come from and which is inlet and outlet on each end. I want to know about the ignition too. Where the plug wires go to and how the ignition module(s) are. I'm also curious about parts B6 and 7. Behind the steering there are these long arms with some cylinder-looking thingy. What are those? I'm also curious about what parts E7 are. If there's any hoses or wires coming off of them tell me where they're from and where they go. And let me know about how the fuel lines go and their routing. Lastly any electricals. Whew.... That's quite a bit! I know there are many bike buffs out there that can tell me. Since this model can have the fairings removed I want it to look awesome (more so than box stock). I know it's a crap-load of info, but I know somebody knows. Thanks my peoples!!!
