My parents gave me one of these kits for for Christmas last year as I was born in 1953. Haven't started it yet but I like what you did.

I never would have guessed that this was a Lindberg kit in a thousand years! You must be some sort of sorcerer or something. Well done!

Beautiful job!  In about 1955, I had the thrill of taking a ride in one similar to that.  It belonged to an older teenager whom I worked with.  He had customized it, lowering the suspension, adding loud mufflers (Glass  Pack?) and had a professional pinstriping job on the body.  It was a convertible, too!  It was a very special ride for me!

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

I traded one of those kits to someone a couple of years ago, and have been regretting it ever since. I need to look for another one!

Truly an exceptional effort. Kudos to your skill as well as your persistence - those Lindberg kits can be beasts.

Not familiar with Lindberg cars but it looks fantastic, specially the engine details. Great job Beer

Lindberg kit, started 15 years ago and finally got around to finishing it. Some parts got lost along the way, so I ended up scratch building the master cylinder and distributor. Refinished in Plasticoat and PPG lacquers, DuPont urethane clear coat. Engine wired and plumbed, underside details include parking brake cable, fuel line, and rear shock mounts, scratch built antenna and bezel.
