Yeah, I once had one of those sets.  The driver I need sits very upright, so it would take quite a bit of carving for the driver.  I think maybe one of the mechanics would work for the track worker, though.  So I do intend to pick up one of those sets, and will use the driver figure if I can't find an upright one.

Driver figures

I bought a couple of the Revell Offy Kurtis kits to build a diorama of a couple of the race cars on the track.  But of course, for that I need driver figures.  Also, a track worker or two would add to the scene.  Best would be a driver of the fifties, with maybe a Bell or Cromwell helmet, but I suppose I could butcher a full face one.  Any suggestions?  Who makes driver figures in 1/24/25?
