Decided to put some skirts on the rear and add an air dam on the grill.

Oh yeh, had to do allot of fill and sanding, but well worth the effort. I would like to do another body the same way, only make it a Custom with a splashy paint scheme.

Looking good. Did you have to do any additional putty work on the body? It looked like the previous owner did pretty well making those changes. Body looks smooth. Keep up the good work. Toast

This being a Salt Lakes Racer, decided to use the VCG 572 BB Tunnel Ram motor. This will help her get up to and over the 200 MPH barrier

In order to fit that bad boy in there, will have to cut an opening in the hood and install a tear drop intake

.

Had to cut some of the inner fender well and floor for the headers. Also put in some dups through the fenders.

It may have come from an estate sale. Don't know the seller or history, but yes, he'd put allot of work into the body. I'm going to try and replicate it on another Custom build.

The rims are resin casts found on Ebay.

Picked this kit up as a used kit, missing parts. The previous owner had chopped, channeled, sectioned and frenched the body and hood. Not bad either. Thought it would make a great Custom Cruzer, however thought again.... why not a Land Speed Race Car? Had some 19" rims and tires in traditional style. It's going to need a big honkin power plant.
