My first build for 2013. It's a 68 HK Monaro by Cavalier. This build is quite basic, being curbside (no engine) and rudimentary chassis (flat plate). The body is resin, as is the grille and taillight insert. The bumpers are metal and the windows are a vac form tub. The body I already painted a horrible green some time ago, so i painted over it with Tamiya Metallic Blue. I made a roof cover for the inside of the cabin, using serviette and white glue. The decal stripes fell apart as soon as i wet them, only the badges were usable. i've ordered a new decal set from Partsbox.com to put a stripe on.

Nice job.
to bad about the decals but what you show is very cool.
sorta looks like a Dodge/Plymouth of that era- interesting

Building the perfect model---just not quite yet
DUSTER sorta looks like a Dodge/Plymouth of that era- interesting
since it was designed by Pontiac, i'd have thought it would look more like their work.
Well shucks

@Duster, that was my exact thought, too. I know Holden is (now) a GM division in Australia (Holden is where the Pontiac G8, Cadillac CTS and ATS and the new Chevrolet Caprice come from), but that 68 Monaro definitely looks like an old Dodge, especially from the front end. The C-pillar looks kind of Corvair-like, but none of it looks Pontiac. Interesting fact that it's a Pontiac design.
@OO - nice work on an otherwise very simple kit.

G. Beaird,
Curbside! Nice job! That make of car oughta confuse some judges at the tables...

Look at the '68 Pontiac GTO and you'll see the family resemblance.
OctaneOrange
the model you built looks very good. I especially like the blue color shows off the body style and with the 60s chrome makes a very good looking build.
So, whats next on your project list? Reguardless bet it'll be worh watching.
