Expendables Ford F-100 pickup
Posted by OctaneOrange on Sunday, January 13, 2013 6:49 PM

This is my model of Silvester Stallone's F100.

I started with the Monogram 1/24 55 F100 street machine kit. I chopped the top by 3 scale inches and extended it by 2. I added the hood scoops with styrene rod and the vents to the dash. I did new door cards and painted them in grey and black. The grille is different, so i pinched the one from my 56, and also the tailgate was swapped to match the Ford font. The grille came from my Grease Lightning model. I made new floor mats with the SS logo. The tray was tubbed to fit the wider Aoshima club linea rims. The rear axle was reworked several times to try and get it right, eventually rebuilt it to a different configuration. The front was lowered 3-4 inches. The engine was built with photoetched rocker cover and aircleaner and a wired distributor. Interior got new seats from a supra and a new center console.

Excellent! Thought of trying that after watching the last movie. Cool!
