Would anyone know of an existing or coming soon kit of Ford's new Taurus police interceptor

All I have found so far is a pre assembled car by motormax.

The real thing doesn't appear to be flying off the shelves yet.Don't hold your breath for a kit.

The reason Ford discontinued the Crown Vic is because the U.S. Government refuses to allow the emergency vehicles have different standards than every day vehicles. Ford has the Taurus police car and the Explorer. There are some Escapes also being used in police work as well as F150s. If someone produces a new Taurus SHO then you might see a police car version.

I think my best bet will be to at least find just a model kit of a new Taurus and bash it into a police model

The auto manufacturers are required by federal mandate to meet MPG and emmissions standards. Until recently the emergency vehicles, e.g. police and fire, and commercial fleet vehicles did not have to be figured into the average over all the vehicles produced. The Crown Vic as well as the Ranger pick up sold in large numbers and both get low MPG,  and if they are continued they would hurt the AVERAGE, so they are being eliminated.
