DeLorian kit?
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 8:13 PM
Just wondering weather or not there will be a new kit of the Back To the Future DeLorian coming out. At the moment there is at least 3 kits (not including kits from the second and third movie) but im not sure which is the most recent, and witch is the best. Any help would be appreciated

I doubt that there will be any new Kits coming out, unless they make a new Movie. I know of atleast 8 different kits from the series.

I have only assembled one of the Aoshima Kits 'Flying Delorean" and that one went together smooth, granted the mechanics for the rotation of the wheels to fly-mode looked a bit flimsy(better not play with it a lot).

Haven't seen the PL version over here yet.

LittleBird,

I have the Aoshima flying Delorean and helped a friend build the Polar Lights version. The Polar Lights version is definetly a BASIC kit, but the Aoshima one is FANTASTIC! The "hover conversion" switch on the Aoshima kit is actually a lot more "sturdy" than one would think. If you get a chance, I would recommend doing a search on either Universal's web site, Hobby Link Japan(www.hlj.com), or ebay. There are a bunch of choices for the different kits, but I recommend Aoshima's.

Hope it helps!
