The AMT front suspension was not up to modern standards so I grafted in the front frame of an AMT ;57 Chevy.

Nothing ever fits……..and when it does, its the wrong scale.

To make mistakes is human.  To blame it on someone else shows management potential.

Hmm, the valve cover there looks exactly like one for a Big Block Chevy engine (396-454) not a 283.  Interesting project, though.  I'm watching.

Installed the fender wells and radiator. The kit hoses would not fit due to my modifications.I decided to try red one conductor wire and it worked. When I stripped the insulation off the copper wire it fit the holes in the intake manifold and water pump.

What did you use for spark plug wires?

The AMT '57 kit I used for parts came with black plug wire.I stretched out the wire and painted it Tamiya flat yellow. Then i followed the kit recommended lengths for the wires.

Added the battery and master cylinder,The chassis/interior combo is complete except for the exhaust from the headers back.I may go with sidepipes or resonators.

I decided to use chrome side pipes. The wire came in handy again to connect the headers to the side pipes.

There was a gap between the dash and the firewall so I used body color diamond plate.
