I don't think I will bother, other than to add a clutch pedal. I will not alter the bottom of the actual transmission, except to maybe narrow the pan.  I suspect most people will not notice the shape of the transmission.  The lack of clutch pedal is something else- that is a glaring omission.

Hey Don, can you fabricate the stuff to make it a "Stick" ? And if so, are your plans to make it a NASCAR vehicle? I'm just curious.                            Bob

Yes, that was me, and no, I don't still have the model. I gave it to a co-owner of the Dryer to display in his engine rebuilding shop.  He specializes in rebuilding antique and collector car engines, especially racing engines.  Last time I visited the shop it was still there.

Hi Don,

Sorry if I'm hijacking your post, but I read an article in a March, '96 "Car Modeler" about a Dryer Indy car that had your name on it as author. Was that you, and if so, do you still have that car?

Picked up the stock car version of the Mobius Chrysler 300 yesterday.  A beautiful kit!  Looks at least as good as the Hudson I just finished.  Well over a hundred parts,  the detail is really impressive.  Only goof I found in initial inspection is that it has an automatic transmission and I believe NASCAR cars have always been stick.
