Sure, what was I thinking, after looking at the heads instead of just the block, those are definatly Pontiac heads. Thanks Hoser for clearing my head!

Dont know if this will help but the AMT '36 Ford coupe, 1991 issue, #6924 lists the extra engine as a 421 Pontiac. It has two intake options - 3 two barrels on a standard manifold or 6 two bbls. on a log manifold.

I've got the same kit. I believe, after looking at the other engine that it is a mid to late 50's Oldsmobile engine. Hope this helps.

This parts in the box appear to be a stock 1936 Ford Coupe (which is what I wanted). I realize that this molding has been re-issued many times in many forms and that there are extra parts on the sprues to reflect this. This particular kit has two complete and individual engines and only the flathead V-8 is shown on the instructions. Does anyone know what the "other" engine included in the kit is?
