The biggest scale diecast kit of the Ford Falcon you'll ever see. it's 1/8 scale

This is the australian version of the Ford Falcon for 1971, with the factory GTHO option (Grand Touring Handling Option). 350 - 380 bhp (276 -291 kW) out of it's tweaked 351 cleveland and a four-speed all-synchromesh manual gearbox.

The kit was semi-built (unfortunately) and pre-painted by ICON models. the body was assembled at the factory to get proper alignment of the doors, etc. it arrived in a massive box and only took a couple hours to finish assembly. I added a bit of detail paint here and there.

If not for the grass in the background, it would be easy to mistake this for a pic of the real thing.. Very cool.

I've got a mate in Victoria with one of those.....and it's HUUUUUGE!!!  And ..... very impressive.  Makes an amazing display piece - he even bought the accessory display 351 to sit beside it.

An impressive display of a true Australian icon.

Cheers, LeeTree

They messed up on that model.  The steering wheel is on the wrong side.
