Not Suzanne Somers, but I have seen Elvyra, "Mistress of the Dark" in her modified T-bird at a haunted house convention. That lady is dynamite and the car ain't bad either. That vintage Chevy was popular in a black and red, black and cream white, blue and cream white, etc. Two tone paint jobs were all the rage in those days. I had a guy wanting to kill me because some chick carved my name in his 1956 Chevy's fresh custom paint job. I am still alive and he is still married to her. Go figure. The blue and blue on the box was also a popular color scheme. There was also a black and pink color scheme. It's different!!

IIR correctly the 57 Chevy had the gas filler behind one of the tail lights? Later models would have the gas filler behind the license plate. I worked at a gas station while going to school and cleaning windshields in the summer during the mini-skirt era was a great job!!! There was this gal that came in in a 1960 T-Bird convertible that ------Ah this is for another forum, sorry.

The engine alone is worth the price of admission.

JT that is a good looking little skinny.  I really like your touch of weathering and the wash, it looks spot on.  You have done your reference homework well.  I sure wish I could crank em out as fast as you and get that kind of results!  I will keep watching.

Nothing ever fits……..and when it does, its the wrong scale.

To make mistakes is human.  To blame it on someone else shows management potential.

That's looking great already. I'm trying to remember  is that the one where the gas spout is behind a pivoting tail lens

hey guys, here is my next project.

got started with the engine. ran a a couple lines, fuel and oil.  will work on the plug wires next.  also the spots for the heater hoses are drilled out, i will add those in later on.

I didn't worry about detailing the Carb, since the air filter will be covering that up!
