Whats Mr. Fusion?

In the classic movie, Back to the Future, the time traveling Delorean uses a Mr. Fusion (a household nuclear fusion device which is a parody of an American coffee maker brand) as the power source to propel the car through time. Mr. Fusion turned household garbage into nuclear fuel.

Ha Ha Oh Yeeeahh... I remember that. I just added a before and after photo to the top of the post.

What a cool way to add new interest and ... creativity to a old classic Tonka truck.

Thanks  mississippivol! I guess now that it has been brought to my attention, it does have Back to the future energy going on. Being that I always loved sci- fi perhaps it was a subconscious inspiration.

I like what you've done with that old tonka, shows even a toy can be made into a decent display piece.

with one exception, the garish red cables. while i know you did it to break up the black, it's a little too 'new' looking compared to the rest of the vehicle. perhaps it needs to be toned down some, and add some silver and charcoal colors to give it some variation.

I like the bright red and pink accents, they draw in the viewer to see the rest of the details.

Dawood: The black does allow the details to 'pop', was the base coat a dark gray? Also I noticed a familiar detail on the roof, looks like a pen holder? Once again excellent work!

Thanks SuppresionFire!!! Yeah I like the hot pink/ red as well. I think I will leave it that way. I wanted to add a fashion flare to contrast the grittyness. Subconsciously I was referencing a Michael Jordan basketball shoe.
