Here's an easier way to replace the missing parts....IF you live in Canada or U.S.ofA.

  • Go to http://www.revell.com/ 
  • click on the "Parts & Service" button along the top menu
  • scroll down, look for the   icon and click on it
  • fill in the blanks
  • wait until the parts arrive in the mail...usually takes 7-14 days

Yep!Go to the hobby shop and get brass tubing of the appropriate diameter.

Shocks are shockingly easy to scratch build!

Basically a tube inside a tube with cut tubes for the mounts. Actually the mounts can be solid as the mounting bolt is only visible on the top of the bolt & the nut.

A lot of auto modellers build their own shocks as molded ones in 1 part do not look as good, have seams and sometimes oval in shape!

I have been away from modeling for some time I finally decided to start up again. I have an older kit, its  revel monogram 60 chevy impala hardtop I just realized I cant find the rear shocks. I was hoping that maybe someone would have a set of extras in a parts box please message me if u can help me out. thanx in advance, fighterguru.
