Had this in my stash for a few years then decided to build it a few years ago. Now when I see what this kit go's for on E Bay wish I had left it in the stash. I'm hoping as long as Revell is on a nostalgia kick with some kits maybe they might re-release  this one.

This is my winter project Red's going green

Going to try the brakefluid stripping method and may be the thing will fall a part to. Rebuild it try some things I've learnd since Ibuilt it the first time give it a new coat of paint a nice dark green.

I get a little flustered with the use of the computer.

Started refurbishing the old Monogram Land Rover. Started with a soak in water to remove the clear parts. Then tried the brake fluid soak, had some parts come off (. I think that was more to age than any thing else I built this kit over 15 years ago) not much on the paint.

I switched to Krud Kutter that worked a lot better.

Had the good furtune to find another Land Rover kit for $50 on E-Bay. now I have two to work on and a set of instructions to refresh my memory  on how this thing went together.

always interesting to see a wreckscue of an old model. I usually pry parts off before putting them into the paint cleaner. most will simply pop off.
