You can try using Acetate sheet. Form it into place and mark the outline with a thin marker then cut to shape. You can also use a sheet of paper to form the template and mark out the shape you need then cut out and use as a template to mark the Acetate sheet.

Missing Windshield

I'm rebuilding an old AMT 1/25 scale GMC Astro 95 big rig cab, however the front windshield is missing.  I was wondering if any of you know of a way to make one.  I' ve checked e bay and other places on the internet for a replacement but haven't found anything.  I was thinking of maybe using shrink wrap and double sided tape but don't know if that would work.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
