Posted by kpnuts on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 12:39 PM

Hi all here is my next quickie just to keep me going til after xmas, as I intend to start my revel flower class corvette and my Airfix 1/12 Bentley then. It wont be as box art as I know mine is not a WRC but will be doing it in my cars colours.

Nice work !Big SmileYes

Looks like a nice kit.

I am unfamiliar with the AIRFIX car kits.

Thanks, they do quite a few there are no chrome parts in them and they are quite a small scale, some of the older one like the tr4 are a bit of a challenge to get a good fit but the newer kits are great, and of course they are one of the cheapest kits out there.

I just checked the Airfix Tribute Forum in box review of the kit.

http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/Airfix_1_32_Ford_Fiesta_RS_WRC_A03413__about36368.html

Photos of the sprues do show a very nicely moulded kit.

For a kit that size, no chrome plating is probably a big advantage.

The build review author is trying his hand at making driver and passenger from Sculpy

Which is a product I have never tried.

I may end up buying a kit but painting it as a fictional car.

Thanks for posting your kit build ! Toast
