I am still making progress on my London Bus, but there is sure a LOT to do! LOTs of parts.
Just noticed that I had knocked loose that pole in the entry/exit area!

Looking good & coming along nicely!
Are the seat covers / fabric decals?

This is so different from the usual stuff that I've been debating building one. I'm curious as to it's size. About how big is it? What brand and color of red paint are you using? I hope you post additional pictures when you're done because I love it.
Don! Great work! I'd thought about doing one of these for my wife (who loves all things British). Thanks for posting!

Yep, decals.

I am using Cardinal Red color of Duplicolor auto touchup paint for the red exterior. The interior has many colors, but for the larger areas, the semi-matt red, I used Testors enamel British Crimson with a very light overcoat of Glosscoat.
Great looking project, Don, coming along very nicely. I often had 3 - 4 day lay overs on UK flights, saw a lot of London from those double decker's while off duty. Looking forward to see this one completed. Thanks for posting.

thats outstanding work you're doing there Don.
Hi Don,
I'm about 90 plus % done with this model. I got too busy for about a year and got back to it late fall. I've got the large decals on. I CA'd on the trim pieces that frame the large decals.
I'm at the point where I am hand painting the black around the window frames which is the rubber trim that holds the glass in on the real thing (I'm painting that on the bus not the glass)
Make sure to dry fit all the large exterior sides etc taking your time to avoid fit issues.. I used both Tenax and CA to do that..
I've also snapped that hand pole at least twice.
I'm debating whether to seal the decals with MM clear lacquer before I install the glass.
This is a fantastic unique kit and definitely not for a novice.
I'll try to get some photos up if I can figure that out as I haven't been around here for a while.
Best to All for 2015
Don
This is up to your usual standards; + points, for "out of the ordinary" model.
