Posted by Rory T on Thursday, January 15, 2015 10:25 AM

Hello, Im building this kit and having a lot of issues with it. I trying to figure the best way to attach the slepper to the cap as the gaps are huge between the 2 parts. Any advice on this would be great. thanks Rory

Maybe a photo showing the fit problem that you are encountering would help to illustrate the problem and elicit some suggestions to fix.

Yes a photo would be a lot of help.  I suppose you have made sure that some other part is not interfering with the two parts.

Rory with this cab I've added tabs on the inside of the middle section to help in getting the sections to line up. The tabs will need to be sanded down afterwards to allow the interor to slide in.

Built this kit myself and here is what I done.Find a really flat surface, lay some sandpaper on it and sand the cab and sleeper in a figure 8.Test fit them on occasion to see how close you are. This method normally takes care of the problem.

Hi Rory, that White Freightliner Is a cow of a thing to build.Sanding in a figure eight is good ,then the only way to make a decent truck out of it is to fill the gap with putty and sand it of carefully hope this helps ya.
