Holden Brougham - Dirty Deeds
Posted by OctaneOrange on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 10:02 PM

The Brougham was a luxury version of Holden's Kingswood sedan made in 1969. It was 8 inches longer, all of it in the trunk, to differentiate it from the base model. it had unique taillights and the Premier grille option.

The movie 'Dirty Deeds', is an Australian gangster movie set in the 1960s. staring Bryan Brown (Barry) and Sam Worthington (Darcy). Darcy comes home from Vietnam and joins his uncle's criminal gang. they are being wooed by Yankie Gangsters (John Goodman and Felix Williamson) who are trying to muscle in on the gambling of the area. At one point their competitors try revenge killing Barry and a chase ensues, between Barry in his Brougham and a EK ute driven by the antagonists.

My model is a Jaymar fiberglass shell on a AMT 69 camaro chassis/interior. i extended the trunk 8mm and used body filler to blend it into the trunk area. The paint is a custom mix of green and gold MMP auto paint. Rims are from a Chevelle. Engine is from a 51 Chevrolet.
